Kubuntu Kubuntuguide:About
From Kubuntuguide
Kubuntu Guide is a straightforward guide for Kubuntu, the KDE desktop version of Ubuntu.
The original Ubuntu Guide was started by Chua Wen Kiat of Malaysia many years ago.
Kubuntu Guide was adapted from that original guide to reflect differences in the Kubuntu (KDE) desktop.
Kubuntu Guide (and Ubuntu Guide) has been used as a model by the official Ubuntu / Kubuntu documentation team and has been incorporated into their documentation over the past several years.
However, because Kubuntu Guide can be edited by the community (unlike the official Ubuntu / Kubuntu documentation until recently), it is updated more frequently and has tips that are often more tailored to each release of Kubuntu.
The current administrator is Ahmad Mohamed, a software developer for RealNetworks in London, England. It is currently hosted on Bluehost/Hostmonster.com.
The current primary editor for the English version of Kubuntu Guide, Ubuntu Guide, and Ubuntu Doctors Guild is Perspectoff, a software and hospital systems and healthcare consultant in California, USA.
There is no primary author of the site, however, as it is a collaborative wiki.
